Warehouse Assistant – Guildford

We are a retail supplier of used empty plastic and metal drums and IBC.

We are looking for a casual employee, approximately 10-25 hours per week with potential to be employed full time 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Customer sales and enquires
• Receiving and packing away stock (manual and using forklift)
• Using power tools to modify stock into garden pots, tap drums and chicken feeders
• Washing out drums using a pressure washer
• Removing labels
• Operational maintenance of warehouse
• Local delivery and pickup using company truck (car License required)

The candidate should ideally have:

• Australian drivers License
• Forklift license along with min 1 year experience using a forklift
• Work independently including open/ closing the Wearhouse.
• Comfortable manual handling empty metal and plastic drums 3kg – 22kg.
• The ability to safely use power tools, such as a drill and jigsaw.
• The ability to learn quickly – with a wide range of products from different suppliers.
• The ability to work quickly and efficiently – you will be juggling multiple tasks with tight deadlines and will need the ability to focus
• Well developed customer-service skills, including telephone calls from customers and staff.
• A positive and solution-focused attitude

Training will be provide on the job.
