Waitress – Sydney City

We are a busy Italian restaurant looking for experienced waitresses!

You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.

This will involve lunch and dinner shifts

Key responsibilities of a waitress:

• Greeting and Seating Guests:

  • Welcoming customers as they arrive and guiding them to their table.
  • Making sure they are comfortable and have everything they need to start their meal.

• Taking Orders:

  • Listening to customers’ orders and answering any questions they may have about the menu.
  • Ensuring the correct order is written down and sent to the kitchen.

• Serving Food and Beverages:

  • Delivering food and drinks to the table promptly and accurately.
  • Ensuring that all items are prepared according to the customer’s preferences.

• Checking on Customers:

  • Checking in with guests during their meal to make sure everything is satisfactory.
  • Refilling drinks, offering condiments, or addressing any additional needs.

• Handling Payments:

  • Presenting the bill to customers at the end of the meal.
  • Processing payments, whether by cash, card, or other methods.

• Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:

  • Clearing dirty dishes from tables.
  • Keeping the dining area clean and organized.

• Providing Exceptional Customer Service:

  • Ensuring that customers feel valued and attended to.
  • Addressing complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently.

• Upselling and Making Recommendations:

  • Suggesting menu items, drinks, or specials to customers to enhance their dining experience.
