Waiter/runner – Sydney City

We are a busy city restaurant wanting to hire experienced waitstaff.

You need to be experienced in running food and drinks in a busy environment.

We need someone to join our team who is enthusiastic quick and has excellent customer facing qualities.

No weekends no public holidays

Tasks of a waiter / runner:

• Assisting with Food Delivery:

  • Delivering dishes from the kitchen to the correct table in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that the correct order reaches the right customer, checking for accuracy.

• Maintaining Order Efficiency:

  • Working alongside waiters and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy times.
  • Assisting with bringing extra items like condiments, drinks, or side dishes.

• Refilling Supplies:

  • Replenishing drinks, napkins, and condiments as needed.
  • Restocking any necessary items for the front-of-house staff.

• Clearing Tables:

  • Clearing away dirty plates and glasses from finished meals.
  • Assisting with resetting tables for the next set of customers.
