Seeking a keen young person/ student looking to learn some farming skills or a travelling person after some summer farm work.
Farm details: 200 cows 24 aside herringbone cowshed 10 mins from New Plymouth
You will be required to work alongside the farm owner/operator. Jobs would include but not limited to; Milking cows ( sole charge after some training) Feeding calves Weed spraying Fencing Tractor work General maintenance/tidying
Training can be provided for all tasks but some experience would be useful and wage would reflect experience.
Position will be required from late October to late March, but negotiable.
On farm accommodation can be provided if required in a spare room of owners house.
