We currently require a John Deere self-propelled and truck spray operator to assist with our busy spray operation starting mid-August 2025 for the spring & summer months. For the right applicant there could be the possibility of furthering this time frame.
We run a fleet of late model agricultural sprayers with 2 John Deere self-propelled, an Isuzu and Mitsubishi trucks with mounted sprayers, covering a wide variety of crops and pastures in the Mid Canterbury District.
This position will be joining our small team, with varied hours to suit, sometimes depending on weather conditions. The person will be directly reporting to the owner of the business who is actively involved spraying.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Grow Safe certification
- Class 2 License
- Experience with self-propelled sprayers preferred
- Proficient with GPS technology

- Previous sprayer/machinery operating experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
