Spa Manager – Tasman, Nelson

We have an exciting opportunity for a Spa Manager to oversee the daily operation of the Hotels Spa, we are seeking a passionate and creative individual that can be part of offering a unique spa experience for guests, with strong attention to detail. This position could be ideal for a spa therapist wanting step up to spa manager.

This is a Full-Time fixed term starting in October until late April with an opportunity to move to another hotel within the group at the end of the season. The position is a live in position with accommodation and food and internet provided, the position is well suited to someone who enjoys the outdoors.

Duties include:

• Creating employee schedules according to spa opening times and treatments.
• To be a great leader with excellent communication skills.
• Great interpersonal skills you will ensure a welcoming and relaxed environment.
• Maintain good working relationships with the team and foster a positive environment.
• To oversee menu pricing and packages, ensuring a high-level offering and service.
• To create a spa experience that is unique and unforgettable.
• To have great organisational skills
• Able to problem solve and make decisions.
• Be able to manage, monitor and analysis feedback accordingly.
• Flexible with regards to work hours to fit around the daily operations and event demands
• Understanding of current Health & Safety obligations, ensuring the Spa is fully compliant to the SOP’s, Policies, procedures, and service standards.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years in a spa role
