Smoothie maker – Noosa Heads

We love making smoothies and serving up delicious juices!

We’re searching for casual team members to join our Juice store on weekdays and weekends during the day. 

This role could include:

1. Customer Service:

  • Greeting Customers: Welcoming customers as they enter the shop with a friendly attitude.
  • Taking Orders: Listening to customers’ requests, helping them select smoothies or other menu items, and processing their orders accurately.
  • Upselling: Suggesting additional items, such as snacks, add-ons (e.g., protein powders, vitamins), or special deals.
  • Providing Information: Explaining the menu, answering questions about ingredients, and suggesting smoothies based on dietary preferences or restrictions (e.g., vegan, gluten-free).
  • Handling Complaints: Addressing customer concerns or issues professionally and resolving them as needed.

2. Smoothie Preparation:

  • Making Smoothies: Following recipes to prepare smoothies accurately, ensuring the right consistency, taste, and portion sizes.
  • Blending Ingredients: Operating blenders and other equipment to blend fruits, vegetables, yogurt, juices, and other ingredients.
  • Measuring Ingredients: Using scales or measuring tools to ensure the correct amount of each ingredient is added for consistency and quality.
  • Customizing Orders: Adjusting ingredients based on customer preferences, such as adding extra fruit or substituting ingredients.

3. Cash Handling and Point of Sale (POS):

  • Processing Payments: Using the cash register or POS system to process customer payments (cash, credit/debit card, mobile payment).
  • Giving Change: Providing accurate change for cash payments and issuing receipts.
  • Maintaining Cash Flow: Ensuring the cash drawer is accurate and balanced at the start and end of shifts.

4. Maintaining Cleanliness:

  • Cleaning Equipment: Washing blenders, utensils, cups, and other tools after each use to prevent contamination.
  • Cleaning Workstations: Keeping the prep area, counters, and serving areas clean and free of spills or clutter.
  • Sanitizing: Regularly sanitizing surfaces, including tables, chairs, and POS equipment, to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Restocking: Ensuring the smoothie station is well-stocked with necessary ingredients, such as fresh fruit, dairy, or non-dairy alternatives, and keeping stock organized.
