Job Title: Sheep Milking Farm – Lamb Rearing Co-ordinator
Contract Duration: July 20th to the end of September or the start of October, which could lead to a longer contract in other areas in the business. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to manage our lamb-rearing operation for the season. This is a hands-on role that requires prior experience with lambs or kids, as well as a genuine passion for animal care. Applicants must be located in New Zealand and hold a valid work visa.
Responsibilities: – Oversee the daily care and management of lambs from July to October – Ensure the welfare of the animals, including feeding, health monitoring, and general well-being. – Maintain good communication with the team and farm management to ensure smooth operations. – Help maintain a safe and clean environment for the animals.
Qualifications & Skills: – Previous experience working with lambs or kids is essential. – Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. – Empathy and dedication to animal welfare. – Strong work ethic and reliability.
