We are seeking an experienced food service professional to work Monday-Friday 11.00am – 3.00pm each day, in our busy salad bar.
Must be well presented and have good communication skills.
Roles of a salad bar attendant:
Food Preparation

Chop, slice, and prep vegetables, fruits, proteins, and toppings.

Make dressings, dips, or pre-mixed salads.

Ensure proper portioning and labeling of ingredients.
Cleanliness & Sanitation

Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and salad bar station.

Regularly wipe down surfaces, change utensils, and sanitize containers.

Follow food safety guidelines (like using gloves, proper food temps, etc.).
Restocking & Rotation

Refill items promptly to keep the bar stocked.

Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) to ensure freshness.

Check for expired or wilted items and dispose of them properly.
Customer Service

Answer questions about ingredients or allergens.

Offer friendly assistance when customers need help.

Keep the area visually appealing and easy to navigate.
