Retreat Chef – Waikino, Waihi

Our beautiful long time resident chef is shortly flying the nest so we are looking for a passionate chef to fill her rather big shoes! This is “ hands on” role working with a small team where you will be utillising fresh produce from our organic gardens to help prepare weekly changing menus for our dining experiences, workshops and events in addition to creating hampers and cooking breakfast for our onsite guests. This would be suited to a chef with experience or a knowledge of traditional cooking methods such as pickling, preserving & fermenting, sourdough baking, making pasta from scratch and wood fired cooking.
