We’re a 10-year established, lively and fun basement steakhouse and bar in the CBD, renowned for our individualised approach to service.
If you don’t know us, we offer a great work environment with plenty of flexibility. We bring a one-team mentality, where front of house and kitchen work as one. Good tips, staff meals, no late nights and we’re closed on Sunday and Monday so everyone gets time to recharge. We’ll develop your knowledge with regular training on all things hospitality. SECTION WAIT STAFF
We’re looking for section wait staff with hours up to 38 a week available.
- You’ll need to look sharp and presentable. But bring your individual style
- Must have a minimum one year experience as a section waiter / waitress
- Steak knowledge and wine knowledge a definite advantage but our menus can be taught
- You’ll need to feel at ease navigating a section and have great time management
- Must be able to work under pressure and handle out-by times
- Must love creating a rapport with guests and tailoring your service to their requirements
- Must bring a can-do attitude and a passion for great food and service
- RSA required
FOOD RUNNERS
We’re looking for casual food runners to work around 20 hours a week
- Must be able to carry three or more plates
- Must be able to follow direction and have excellent recall
- Must be able to drop dishes at the table and describe them to guests
- Must be super friendly and have great personality
- Available weekends and nights
- Able to work under pressure
COCKTAIL BARTENDERS
We’re looking for a casual bartender to work around 30 hours a week.
- Wine, spirit and beer knowledge will give you a definite advantage
- Cocktail knowledge a definite requirement
- Must enjoy both a fast paced environment, and a slower service where you’ll be given the tools to develop your own cocktails
- An understanding of flavours and how they work with different spirits preferred
- Feel comfortable chatting and building a rapport with guests sitting at the bar
- Be happy learning the ins and outs of the food menu and serving guests who sit at the bar
- Be self motivated to prep the bar batches, cook syrups, and generally help your bar team keep on top of all that needs doing
