Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and concerns
- Manage bookings across multiple channels including phone, email, and OTA extranets
- Confidently use RMS Reservation System to handle reservations and guest check-ins/outs
- Work flexible hours across AM (7am–2:30pm) and PM (2pm–10pm) shifts, including weekends, school holidays, and public holidays
- Share local knowledge and provide tailored recommendations on hotel amenities and Byron’s best attractions and dining
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate respectfully with guests and management
- Offer ideas and input to enhance the resort’s operations and sustainability efforts
Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with RMS Reservation System is highly regarded
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong computer proficiency
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Reliable, honest, and well-presented with a genuine passion for guest service
- Good knowledge of Byron Bay and its surrounding areas is a plus
