Rental Assistant – Falls Creek

We are a family-owned & operated business located in central Falls Creek. We are looking for someone to join our small team for the 2025 winter season. On-mountain staff accommodation can be organised for the right applicant.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Assisting guests with their rental and retail equipment requirements
  • Determining/advising guest on their equipment
  • Selling a wide range of ski and snowboard products including accessories and souvenirs
  • Stock rotation, visual merchandising and various other tasks as required.
  • Resolving guest problems efficiently and tactfully
  • Complying with all company, store and area operational, OHS, environmental policies and procedures

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Computer skills, EasyRent experience an advantage
  • Proven experience in a rental or retail
  • Experience with cash/card (EFTPOS)
  • Ability to handle pressure effectively while multitasking
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highest regard for personal appearance and presentation
  • Have a strong work ethic and a cheerful personality
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including split shifts, evening and weekend shifts
  • Personal interest in skiing, snowboarding, and the outdoors is a must
  • Current manual driver’s licence, an advantage
  • Applicants must hold a valid Australian work visa
  • Fluency in other languages is considered a bonus
