We are a family-owned & operated business located in central Falls Creek. We are looking for someone to join our small team for the 2025 winter season. On-mountain staff accommodation can be organised for the right applicant.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assisting guests with their rental and retail equipment requirements
- Determining/advising guest on their equipment
- Selling a wide range of ski and snowboard products including accessories and souvenirs
- Stock rotation, visual merchandising and various other tasks as required.
- Resolving guest problems efficiently and tactfully
- Complying with all company, store and area operational, OHS, environmental policies and procedures
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Computer skills, EasyRent experience an advantage
- Proven experience in a rental or retail
- Experience with cash/card (EFTPOS)
- Ability to handle pressure effectively while multitasking
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Highest regard for personal appearance and presentation
- Have a strong work ethic and a cheerful personality
- Ability to work a varied schedule including split shifts, evening and weekend shifts
- Personal interest in skiing, snowboarding, and the outdoors is a must
- Current manual driver’s licence, an advantage
- Applicants must hold a valid Australian work visa
- Fluency in other languages is considered a bonus
