Receptionist – St Kilda

Job Description:

We are seeking a Night Receptionist to join our team of legends. As a Night Receptionist you will be in charge of the security & safety of our guests, whilst also taking on some basic administrative duties whilst providing excellent customer service throughout the night. The role has full time hours available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in guests arriving during the overnight shift
  • Process reservations and payments accurately
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with guests
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and work efficiently
  • Work proactively and use initiative to address guest needs and inquiries
  • Monitor security cameras and ensure the safety of guests and property
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the reception desk and lobby area

Requirements:

  • Be able to build a rapport with guests
  • Excellent customer service and guest relations skills
  • Proactive and able to use initiative
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Have previous experience in managing conflict & customer service
  • Exceptional communication skills, not only with guests but internally with the team & management for efficient reporting

Shift Details:

  • Night shifts: midnight through until 8am
  • Minimum 2-3 days per week but full time available for the right candidate
  • Standard overnight rates and loading for these times applies
  • Available to: Working Holiday Visas, Student Visas and/or residents
