Receptionist – Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty

As a receptionist, you will be the welcoming heartbeat of our park, greeting guests with enthusiasm and guiding them through their adventure-packed day. Your passion for guest experience and organization will ensure seamless operations and leave a lasting impression on every visitor.

This is a part time, fixed term role (approximately 24 hours), with the opportunity to progress. The successful candidate would ideally be able to work either Thursday/Friday/Saturday OR Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet guests as they enter the park, setting the tone for their exhilarating experience.
  • Ability to upsell rides and spiel to large groups. *Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering enquires, helping with ticket purchases, park information and directions.
  • Manage guest inquiries and requests via phone, email and in-person interactions, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, cash-handling and managing reservations to support smooth park operations.
  • Communicate with team members across the park to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Beneficial Work Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service, tourism or hospitality preferred, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
  • Enthusiasm for thrill rides and a willingness to embrace a high-energy atmosphere.
