Receptionist (On Call) – Wellington

The summer season is approaching in Wellington, and we’re looking for extra support to keep things running smoothly. We’re on the hunt for a friendly, motivated, and reliable Receptionist to join our team full-time (30-40 hours per week) this season.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life, thrives in dynamic environments, and takes pride in delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Start Date: Mid November / Early December

What You Bring:

Experience in hospitality, customer service, or Management (preferred). A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality and people from all cultures. Attention to detail. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, including on-call shifts when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming guests and ensuring an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out. Handling bookings, inquiries, and administrative tasks efficiently and professionally. Assisting with daily hostel operations, weekly tasks, and social events. Managing unexpected situations (yes, even the occasional tipsy guest!) with care and good humour.
