As a Receptionist, you will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure, plus an eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, excellent computer skills, spelling and grammar.
This is a Fixed-Term Part-Time opportunity, to cover parental leave; but does have potential to be extended. This role offers between 20-30 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking for a stable role for a period of months.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude upon arrival.
- Checking guests in and out efficiently, processing reservations, and handling payments accurately.
- Providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guests’ experiences.
- Handling guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Travel agent commission processing and managing the debtors ledger
- Maintaining an organized and clean reception area.
- Collaborating with other hotel departments to coordinate guest services and weekly ordering.
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as filing, record-keeping, and preparing reports.
- Ensuring the security and confidentiality of guest information.
- Handling emergencies and guest issues calmly and effectively.
- Assisting with guest luggage and porter duties.

- Previous experience in a similar role
