We are looking for a receptionist/housekeeper
Reception
1. A daily balancing of your shift
2. Guest check in and departure procedures.
3. Reservationist phone bookings & e-mail bookings.
4. Daily filing procedures.
5. Sightseeing tour agent for the hotel.
6. Act as the liaison person between Housekeeper, General Managers on daily operations.
7. Light reception cleaning duties.
Housekeeping
1. Follow instructions from the Head Housekeeper.
2. Cleans and servicing of rooms to Hotel standards
3. Cleaning the Bar/ Café and common areas to hygienic standards.
4. Heading the team of room attendants on the Head housekeepers days off . Working with the team at all times.
5. Signing off rooms to meet required Housekeeping standards.
· Beds made to Hotel standards
· Checking for hairs,
· Rubbish bins emptied ,
· Towels arranged according to hotel standards,
· Amenities clean, the unused are checked and placed according to the Hotels standard layout Floors cleaned.
6. Training and inducting new employees.
7. Communicate with the Receptionist about the rooms i.e. if people are staying over.
8. Communicate with reception if there is any maintenance that needs to be done.
9. Work within our Health and Safety guidelines.
10. Ordering linen and restocking the laundry’s at the end of the shift.
