We are an established and popular motel located in central Whanganui and we are currently looking to recruit a part-time housekeeper to join our team on a casual contract. Shifts would be a minimum of 2 hours, starting at 9:15am. The length of shift will be dependent on the workload. Applicants must be prepared to work week days, weekends and public holidays as required.
For this role you must take pride in your work and be willing to go the “extra mile” to make our guests’ stay an enjoyable one.
The role is a physical one that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team but who can also work well without supervision.
As part of our Housekeeping Team you will be responsible for servicing, cleaning and presenting rooms to a high level so that the guests have a positive and satisfying stay. Previous experience would be advantageous but not essential as training can be given for the right candidate.
To be successful in the role you must: Have a strong eye for detail. Be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Have good communication skills.
