We are on the lookout for reliable, fit and energetic staff to join our busy Packhouse team on a fixed-term basis.
You will be responsible for grading, packing, stacking, and strapping. The work isn’t complicated, but due to it being a fast-paced environment with a large focus on quality it is important that you have a good eye for detail. Successful applicants will be able to lift 10-15 kilo boxes with ease and be happy to stand on their feet all day. We request applicants have the flexibility to work extended hours and have their own reliable transport to get to work as our site is based within a rural location.
You need to be able to work at least 30 hours a week. We need people who will be available to start working in June and continue through on a fixed-term basis.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Basic English-speaking skills to the level that you can understand any instructions you are given
- Have a good level of physical fitness and be drug free
- Pass a police check
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Able to work flexible hours
- Must have your own reliable transport
Previous Packhouse or warehouse experience would be a bonus for us but if you meet the other criteria above we would still love to hear from you.
