NANNY on Cattle station – Newman

$33/ hour plus superannuation 💰
Nanny required for a cattle station 156kms north east of Newman WA from now till 10th September.
Nanny will be responsible for shared care of three children- 17 month old boy, 7 year old and 4 year old girls, girls do remote homeschooling with their governess who is also on site.
If this role interest you, keep reading, I have tried to be as detailed as possible to answer the questions.
Governess does the schooling and nanny cares and supervises boy through out day as he cannot be in schoolroom.
During morning tea and lunch break there is a roster put in place so nanny and governess both have breaks and one is always with the children.
Nanny will be required;
To prepare morning tea and lunch for all the children.
Cleaning up after morning tea and lunch and wiping down tables, chairs and high chair so they are left in a hygienic state.
If children make a mess supervise them cleaning it up, boy is a bit young for this.
Occasionally if governess is unable to work for a day or two, nanny will step into governess role.
To do some light house work.
Change nappies as boy isn’t toilet trained yet, girls are.
Cleaning support to homestead staff.
Feed the poultry(chooks).
Criteria needed in order to apply;
Must have a drivers licence
Able to drive a vehicle
Able to commit till 10th September 2024
Able to provide a working with children check(WWCC) or willing to obtain one at cost of employer.
Able to provide First Aid or willing to obtain it at costs of employer.
Can handle working and living remotely
Have hygenically clean and tidy habits on a personal and work level
Speak English fluently
Have the ability to work independently and show initiative
Be professional, honest, sensible, reliable, flexible, trustworthy and respectful
Creative nature to plan fun and educational activities
Have a Patient outlook and nature

💰Pay is $33 per hour plus superannuation 💰
The hours for nanny are from 7am till 3.30pm.
20 minute paid break for morning tea.
30 minute unpaid break for lunch.
Monday to Friday.
Accomodation and food provided.
You will get an opportunity to see how it works on a cattle station eg mustering etc
Can’t accept couples and traveling with pets.
Best to have own car so you can go exploring on your days off, station is a few hours drive from Karajinni National Park, Millstream National Park, Carrawine Gorge, Running Waters, Broome and many other cool sights.
