Do you have experience operating a tractor or forklift, and the ability to assist with various orchard tasks? We are looking for skilled individuals to join our passionate Springhill Orchard team this harvest season in Ongaonga, Central Hawkes Bay!
As a Fixed Term Machinery Operator, you will have the opportunity to showcase your operational skills, navigating through the orchard safely transporting both empty and full apple bins while also supporting the team with other general orchard hand tasks.
What you’ll need:
- A valid driver’s license (minimum Learner License)
- Your own reliable transport is preferred (alternative transport options may be available)
- Previous experience operating a forklift or tractor
- Ability to be flexible with hours as we head into our peak season
- Show commitment to safety while operating machinery and equipment, ensuring to report any equipment issues to Orchard Management
- To be punctual and reliable
