We are looking for fit individuals who are able to work atleast 8 hours a day.
Job is mostly based on contract basis, you will be paid per bay. It’s a winter pruning job, where you have to prune and tie down kiwifruit canes. You can watch some videos on YouTube by typing kiwifruit G3 gold winter pruning in nz. You will find many videos, which will give you idea of the job. I will provide full training, If someone has previous experience that’s very good, I prefer experienced people. If some one new who have no experience in winter pruning but if he/she eager to learn and committed to work full time we can train them.
As this job mostly based on contract basis, so you will be paid per bay. Bay is measured in square meters. Every orchards have different bay size’s, ex: 16 , 20, 25, 30 square meter .
Pay will be discussed on personal meeting or by email in brief.
All roles require a reasonable level of fitness as some tasks can be physically demanding. We are also seeking a supervisor to maintain quality standards and motivate the team.
Hours: Current work hours are from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (subject to change), but we offer flexibility as long as 40 hours are met each week.
