We are looking for a kitchenhand in a busy cafe in Townhall – Sydney.
Requirements of a kitchen hand:
– Must be fast and clean
– Reliable
– Available Monday to Friday (is a must)
– Immediately start
– Fixed roster
Monday and Tuesday (7.00am – 3.30pm)
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (9.00am – 3.30pm)
General duties of a kitchen hand:

Cleaning & Sanitising:

Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils

Clean benches, sinks, floors, and kitchen equipment

Maintain hygiene and food safety standards

Food Preparation Support:
-
Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients
-
Assist chefs and cooks with basic prep tasks
-
Organize ingredients and kitchen tools
-

Stock Handling:
-
Unpack and store deliveries correctly
-
Keep storage areas clean and organized
-
Alert chefs or managers when stock is low
-

Waste Management:

Take out rubbish and recycling

Keep bins clean and properly sorted
