Kitchenhand – Moutere, Tasman

We are looking for its next superstar Kitchen Hand. No experience required just a keen and willing attitude. Full Training provided and chances to up-skill in other areas of the kitchen.  Busy destination restaurant.  Food prep, washing dishes.  Experience preferred but not necessary.

  • To ensure the cleanliness of equipment, food service, and food preparation areas matches our high standards and reputation. To ensure the quality and preparation of all food meets our standards.
  • Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy. Inform Chef of any maintenance issues in this area.
  • Ensure dishwasher is functioning properly.
  • Empty and clean rubbish room
  • Keep all cleaning equipment orderly
  • Ensure the cleaning schedule is completed each week
  • Fill disposal towels and keep soap dispensers full.
  • Inform manager of any equipment shortages or malfunctions eg cleaning tools; dishwasher etc.
  • Communicate with Head chef and kitchen team

You must be available to work Wednesday to Sunday plus Friday night and any other functions we have in the evenings.

Shifts Wednesday to Sunday 10 – 4.30pm and on Friday 10 – 9pm.
