Kitchenhand – Byron Bay

Our restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is available on  Friday, Saturday and Sunday with wedding and other events being held throughout the year.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience in working as part of a team in high pressure environments
  • A true interest for ethical food, hospitality and people
  • Honest and results focused – able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
  • Focus on keeping food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, appliances and working areas clean
  • Support the team in the receiving deliveries and ensuring they are handled and stored appropriately
  • Assist with food preparation for events, daily services and our produce store
  • Washing utensils, cutlery and flatware and ensuring recycling, green waste and landfill rubbish are taken care off according to our processes

We are looking for a few individuals to complete our team 2 to 3 days a week with the potential of more.
