We are looking for a kitchen hand for a Surfclub in Sunshine beach!
General tasks for a kitchen hand:
- Food Preparation: Assisting with washing, peeling, chopping, and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Keeping the kitchen, utensils, and equipment clean and organized, following health and safety standards.
- Dishwashing: Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils, ensuring they are ready for use.
- Assisting Chefs: Supporting chefs and cooks by following instructions and helping with various cooking tasks as needed.
- Stocking Supplies: Monitoring inventory levels and restocking ingredients and supplies as necessary.
- Organizing Storage Areas: Maintaining orderly storage of food items, including proper labeling and dating.
- Disposing of Waste: Managing kitchen waste and ensuring proper disposal methods are followed.
- Basic Cooking Tasks: Sometimes performing simple cooking tasks, like boiling, frying, or baking under supervision.
- Monitoring Equipment: Ensuring that kitchen equipment is functioning properly and reporting any issues.
- Adhering to Safety Protocols: Following food safety regulations and kitchen policies to maintain a safe working environment.
