We are looking for a reliable and strong-bodied individual to join our team at our hydroponic greenhouse, located just 15 minutes from the Papakura motorway off-ramp. This is a casual position with the potential for more hours depending on demand. If you’re based in South Auckland and enjoy working outdoors, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- General greenhouse work including packing, moving, washing pipes, and planting
- Assisting with general maintenance tasks
Hours & Schedule:
- Typically, work hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but some days may finish earlier depending on workload
- Workdays are not fixed and are based on demand, but you will typically be required to work about 3-4 days per week
- You must be able to work on Sundays
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Must have New Zealand working rights
- Must own a vehicle or have access to one for commuting to and from the greenhouse
- No prior experience required, but you must be willing to learn and adapt quickly
- A Class 2 driver’s licence is ideal, as there may be occasional delivery duties
- Strong work ethic and an enjoyment of outdoor work are a must
