Housekeeping Supervisor – Noosa

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking for a long term, dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout our facilities and be available to work 5 days a week.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction by efficiently managing room assignments and coordinating the efforts of the housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  2. Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are cleaned and maintained according to established standards.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company policies.
  4. Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
  5. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
  6. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  7. Assist in the training of housekeeping team members.
  8. Foster a positive work environment by providing support, guidance, and encouragement to staff.
  9. Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic in all aspects of the role.
  10. Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and allocate resources to meet operational needs.
  11. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay rate :

  • Week-day : $30/h
  • Saturday : $37.5/h
  • Sunday : $45/h
  • P.H : $60/h
