We are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Housekeeping Attendant to join the busy team at our resort. The hotel boasts 34 accommodation rooms, a restaurant, operates 7 days a week and is a self- rated 3 star property. We are looking for a dynamic and career driven individual to join our professional housekeeping team.
Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor, our Housekeeper’s role is a key part of the daily hotel operations by providing a consistent and high quality standard of guest services and ensuring efficient cleaning services to confirm the hotel is presented to the highest standard for all guests.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and cleaning all allocated guest rooms, ensuring all tasks are completed at the required standard;
- Assist guests with all queries and complaints, and provides accurate information to guests; about the property facilities and features;
- Comply with all guest privacy and security procedures; and
- Stock and maintain the housekeeping trolley, ensuring adequate supplies are available and the trolley is presentable at all times.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work with a strong work ethic;
- Prior experience in the front office function in a similar environment;
- Exceptional customer service skills; including friendly customer service demeanour;
- Proven ability to be a proactive individual with strong organisational and time management skills;
- Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills, excellent communication skills;
- A passion for exceeding guest expectations and providing a high standard of guest service;
- A strong eye for detail and a focus on accurate reporting;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Exceptional personal presentation and grooming and
- A strong appreciation and compliance of workplace safety.
This is a casual role working a spread of shifts over a 7 day roster; including week days, weekends and public holidays.
