Casual hospitality assistants required for our property, situated in the Bay of Islands, 30 minutes from Kerikeri.
Hospitality assistants will spread their time between Housekeeping and Guest services. We are also seeking housekeeping staff.
Main housekeeping tasks include cleaning the tasting room at the winery, servicing the houses when we have guests, including bed making, turnaround cleans, windows and laundry. Housekeeping can be physically demanding.
Main Guest Services tasks include hosting guests, food and beverage service and coordinating excursions, activities and transfers.
Ideal candidates will have the following
- Be well presented
- Have excellent communication skills
- Enjoy cleaning and have an eye for detail
- Be confident to interact with and serve guests
- Can take initiative and work without supervision at times.
It is ESSENTIAL that you have your own transport and drivers licence. You will need to be a confident driver as we are at the end of a gravel road, 30 minutes from Kerikeri.
You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand, we are not able to sponsor overseas applications as this is only a casual position.
Full training will be provided to the right applicants but some housekeeping and hospitality experience would be preferred. Some weekend and public holiday work is required, hours will vary.
