Are you passionate about people, wildlife, and the ocean? We’re on the lookout for a vibrant, customer-focused, outgoing individual to join our family-run team.
This is a full-time position, including weekends, starting mid-July ~ and it’s as multi-faceted as it is rewarding.
This is a unique hybrid role, combining two key responsibilities. You’ll split your time between guiding guests on our dolphin nature tours and providing top-notch customer care & admin support in our booking office, answering any questions in person, via phone, and replying to emails.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has strong sea legs and a friendly, nurturing personality
• Is confident and clear in communication
• Has solid computer skills
• Works well in a team environment,
• Is a supportive team member who can adapt to a flexible roster and different roles with ease
• Is calm, assertive, quick thinking, and takes the lead with confidence when needed
• Experience in tourism or social media isn’t necessary, but it would be a great bonus
• This is a 6+ month role, so no short-term applications. We need someone who can be trained to take us through the busy summer period and potentially longer.
• Must have the right to work in New Zealand.
We also have a cozy, self-contained tiny house available for just $250 per week, internet and power included ~ perfect if you’re relocating!
