Job Description:
- Ensure the smooth check-in and check-out of all guests.
- Accommodate the requests and needs of all guests, make recommendations, and upsell rooms and related services.
- Greet and assist clients, staff, and visitors, ensuring a positive experience.
- General reception duties such as incoming calls and emails, directing enquiries efficiently.
- Assist residents with services similar to those provided by hotel concierges, including arranging deliveries, making reservations, coordinating repairs, and organizing social events within the community.
- Proactively communicate any guest feedback to the Duty Manager to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Answer and direct incoming calls from inside and outside the hotel.
- Answer and process reservation enquiries if required.
- Maintain current knowledge of all room rates and packages available.
- Dispatch requests to the appropriate department.
- Monitoring the safety and security of the hotel.
- 6 Months’ experience as a Guest Service Agent or receptionist in a hotel is desirable but not essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills, communication, and time management skills
- A friendly and outgoing personality
- Proven ability to work unsupervised.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evening shifts including public holidays.
