Your daily tasks: Kiwifruit Grafting
As a Grafting Assistant focused on kiwifruit grafting, you’ll play a vital role in grafting young kiwifruit plants in an indoor kiwifruit greenhouse. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work efficiently with a team. Full training will be provided, though previous grafting experience is a plus.
Your Playground: Pukehina
Our kiwifruit nursery is located in Pukehina, with some plants being grown on our Tauranga site as well.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday between 07:00 – 16:00, an average of 45 hours per week.
Remuneration: $24 + 8% holiday pay
Start date: 20 November 2024
The first part of grafting will be done between 20/11 and 22/12/2024, the second part between 08/01 – 31/01/2025. There will be no work available between 22/12 and 08/01 due to plants not being ready to be grafted. Great way to enjoy the Christmas break and do a bit of travelling !
