We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Golf Attendant to join our team and help us continue to create memorable experiences for our Members, Guests and Community.
Job Description:
The Golf Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the golf course and delivering excellent customer service. This position involves interacting with golfers, managing daily operations, and maintaining the course and facilities to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet golfers warmly upon arrival, provide them with information about the course, and assist with check-in and tee times. Address any questions or concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Course Management: Monitor the course and ensure that all golfers follow the established rules and etiquette. Assist with the daily golf cart management and ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Facility Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain golf carts, practice areas, and other equipment. Ensure that all areas of the golf course and clubhouse are clean, organised, and in good condition.
- Operational Support: Assist with managing tee times, checking players in, and coordinating with the Golf Shop and other staff.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed. Report any hazards or issues to management promptly.
- Event Assistance: Support special events or tournaments as required, including setup, coordination, and guest assistance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, but not required. Experience in the golf industry is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with a diverse range of people. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required by the golf course’s operational hours.
- Attitude: A positive, professional demeanour with a passion for golf and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
Our Operations department includes Golf, Food & Beverage and Accommodation therefore applicants with previous experience in these areas will be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will have previous experience within the retail or golf sales industry and is flexible to work across a 7-day roster.
