Front Office Receptionist for Holiday Accommodation

This position is suitable for students  wanting long-term casual employment and is available for 3-4  days a week on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

This position is suitable for a candidate who has a hands-on approach and a passion for the accommodation industry.

The candidate will have some experience in all aspects of a  typical reservations team & front office work, experience.

Candidates with prior knowledge of hotel reservations system software (RMS  or similar)

will be highly regarded

The candidate will be responsible for the first point of contact when our guests arrive at the Resort, and will be instrumental in assisting with check in/out procedures, keeping records of room occupancy, making and confirming reservations and responding to any telephone inquiries   and in a friendly manner. The candidate will always strive to meet the needs of the guests throughout the entire customer experience.

This position is suitable for students with some experience. This position is not suitable for WHV holders .

The candidate will have the ability to:

  • Handle the pressure when busy while possessing the confidence to make decisions and prioritize tasks to be an efficient team member.
  • Be open and able to assist other departments when required.
  • Be available and able to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
