Front of House Waitstaff – Sydney

The Big Group have partnered with a corporate client to forge an unparalleled realm of tailored hospitality within the soon-to-be-unveiled business headquarters, nestled in the vibrant heart of Martin Place in Sydney.

In this new venture, we will be delivering several different hospitality experiences, menus and styles of service across boardroom catering, cafés and events in a new contemporary, tech-advanced building and event space. Being the business HQ, all areas will be fully activated during regular business hours, with the event space extending to operate on nights and weekends.

To join our team in this new business expansion, we are looking for FOH Waitstaff and Baristas to join our retail, eventing and boardroom catering teams.

Main duties include:

  • Food and beverage service in a café, boardroom and/or event setting.
  • Perform high levels of customer service to all guests.
  • Manual handling to set up/pack down rooms.
  • Use of POS (point of sale) systems.
  • Making coffee (for those who are experienced baristas.)
  • Retail teams work a Mon-Fri week.
  • Boardroom teams work Mon-Fri with some nights for boardroom dinners.
  • Event teams work across the whole week, supporting all events within the new event space.

Skills/Experience required:

  • NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol.
  • Exceptional customer service.
  • Barista experience preferred.
  • Retail and/or events/catering experience.
  • Arrive to work polished and well groomed.
