Front of House Supervisor – Byron Bay

We are a funky friendly place that blends the energy and flavours of Mexico with the beachy vibe of Byron. We first opened the doors of our colourful cantina in December 2012. Our staff love to make and serve great Mexican food and ‘one is not enough’ cocktails…but most of all we love to look after our guests, ensuring they enjoy the  experience. ​Happy vibes, cold beer, ocean breezes and banging margaritas!

About the role

With your experience supervising staff and working on the floor/bar/door/host in a busy and energetic environment, you will be an important part of the supervisory team working to coordinate the staff on shift to deliver a great customer experience with the famous  flair.

Responsibilities & Duties

– Promoting a fun positive culture in the workplace

– Delivering consistently high standards of customer service

– Ensuring the flow of service and product quality is maintained

– Set up/opening and or pack down/closing of the restaurant

– Service, equipment and technical problem solving

– End of shift reporting

– Daily adherence to RSA compliance

Work life balance is critical in Byron and we welcome this. Trading hours are 12pm to 10:00pm most days.

 

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have experience in other supervisory roles within a busy table service restaurant environment or has experience as senior floor staff. You will need to have:

· A fantastic attitude

· A sound knowledge of food, drink, bartending, serving, door hosting.

– Available to work nights, weekends and public holidays.

– Current NSW RSA

– Fantastic communication skills

– Ability to prioritise
