Food Court Assistant – Casuarina

• Part Time Position Minimum 24 hours per week
• Rotating roster which will include weekend

Position Summary

Prepares and sells food and drink items to customers from a food court kitchen. Pulls and stocks supplies and ingredients. Cleans kitchen and eating areas. Processes sales, collects money, and dispenses food and drink items. Follows proper safety and sanitation procedures and standards. Provides prompt and courteous member service.

Job Duties/Essential Functions

• Cleans and sanitises the workstations. Sweeps, mops, sprays, washes, applies cleaning agents, wipes, and operates pressure washer. Cleans and re-fills mop bucket. Cleans mop head. Follows general safety and sanitation procedures and standards
• Collects cardboard and trash, operates trash compactor and cardboard baler. Takes laundry to service pick up area
• Logs sanitation procedures performed on daily report and comply with health codes. Follows proper general safety and security procedures and standards. Reads labels for proper use and precautions of cleaning products
• Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all safety training required by warehouse
• Follows department production procedures and standards for quality and consistency of finished product. Assists in other areas and departments of the warehouse as necessary
• Provides prompt and courteous customer service to drivers, members, employees, and suppliers
• Operate cash registers.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery

• Pizza oven, steam table, latte machine, yoghurt and smoothie machine, dough press, scale, cash register, phone, wheeled rack, trash compactor, baler, dishwasher, fire extinguisher, deep fryers, hot holders and proofer.

Non-Essential Functions

• Assists with front end duties and in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery

• Table top/hand-held scanner, cart rope, carts, flatbeds.
