Farm Egg Collector – Otaki 4 month contract
We are looking for a fit, reliable persons to join our awesome Otaki Farm team here at NZ Egg Group
We have a 4-month contract position: Otaki Based with the opportunity to come on permanently
This is a minimum wage job $23.70hr Physically demanding
6am – 3pm The Egg collection Job Consists of: 4 days on 2 days off
- Egg collection hand collecting off belt
- Going into sheds with chicken’s, floor eggs. (Bending/ Lifting)
- Lifting
- Handling chickens
- Standing and walking all day
- Cleaning
- Able to drive a forklift
This is a physical job and you are standing and walking and lifting all day.
You need to be comfortable going into a poultry shed with up to 10,000 birds picking up any eggs that are laid on the floor and also checking feed and water and handling any birds.
Happy with a varied work environment.
Full License and to be able to drive a manual are also a must!
