EXPERIENCE TEAM
The experience team ensures the efficient operation, sales, and ushering of our Realscape Productions experiences. The position requires persons with strong interpersonal and communicative skills, and a general interest/eagerness for the arts. Applicants should be very comfortable in talking to large groups of the general public.
Persons with technical experience in a similar role and/or general experience within the performing arts and theatre are encouraged to apply.
PLEASE NOTE: this is a FOH/event role and applicants should have relevant experience – we are not looking for collaborators/performers to work on current or upcoming projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be on hand to ensure all guests and patrons have the most immersive and memorable experience.
- Provide customer service to audiences, including the promotion and selling of tickets.
- Brief audiences on certain safety procedures and adhere to those procedures accordingly.
- Usher audiences in and out of the experience with health and safety and visitor experience at the forefront.
- Contribute to nightly reports on venue operations and attendance.
- Use ticketing systems and cross-platform messaging via a provided work phone.
- General tech maintenance of the experiences
SEASON OVERVIEW
Our season at Odlins Plaza, Wellington, begins on Friday 4th July and runs until Sunday 27th July with a commencement date of the contract from Tuesday 1st July to assist with bump in/training.
You should have full availability from 4pm Tues-Fri and from 12pm Sat-Sun. We are able to offer 2 x 30 hours a week across 6 days (Tues-Sun) and are looking for freelancers that have their own NZBN.
