The Opportunity:

Looking for a job where no two shifts are the same? We’re on the hunt for energetic, reliable, and flexible individuals to join our casual event team.

As part of our team, you’ll support a wide variety of events – from weddings, concerts to conferences and community gatherings. You’ll be hands-on, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes and front of house. You will be responsible for helping to deliver extraordinary experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.

Your Key Responsibilities:

·       Assist the bar manager with stocking and restocking the bar

·       Serve drinks and snacks at the bar

·       Prepare light food and manage tea/coffee stations

·       Support operations with event lighting, heating and air conditioning

·       Set up and pack down events, which may include up to 280 chairs and various tables and stage components

·       Follow event floor plans to configure rooms for meetings, receptions and performances

·       Ensure safety procedures are followed so that guests have a great experience

·       Front of house duties, including welcoming guests and ticket sales

·       Physically fit and able to be on their feet for long shifts

·       Can work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and early mornings

·       Possess strong self-assurance and the ability to assert boundaries if needed

·       Demonstrate initiative and problem solve on the fly

·       Great attention to detail and strong work ethic

·       Hands on, adapt easily and cool under pressure

·       Friendly and approachable

·       Work in a collaborative environment as a team player

·       Ushering, venue or hospitality experience is valuable
