Data Entry Clerk Required – Sydney CBD

As a data entry clerk, you will be responsible for inputting a variety of data into their systems. You will work with spreadsheets, databases, and other digital tools to accurately record, update, and maintain information. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently are essential skills for this role. This is a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Input: Enter data into designated databases, spreadsheets, and other formats as required.
  2. Data Verification: Verify accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents or within systems.
  3. Data Updates: Update existing data and perform regular data maintenance tasks.
  4. Quality Assurance: Review data for errors and inconsistencies, making corrections where necessary.
  5. Data Security: Ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
  6. Reporting: Generate reports and extract data as needed.
  7. Adherence to Procedures: Follow company procedures and guidelines for data entry and management.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to meet team goals.
  9. Efficiency: Complete tasks within specified timeframes to meet deadlines.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
  • Fast typing skills; proficiency in touch typing is preferred.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with administrative procedures and office management systems.
  • Knowledge of data entry best practices and confidentiality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
