New Zealand’s only two Wilderness Lodges are looking for enthusiastic team members to work the upcoming tourism season. Both Wilderness Lodges are family owned and operated. We offer high quality accommodation, food and guided nature activities to mostly international visitors. The lodges have been at the forefront of nature tourism for over 30 years.
The roles:
Our ‘Lodge Assistants’ are an important part of Wilderness Lodge operations. Lodge Assistants undertake restaurant duties over breakfast and dinner times and undertake housekeeping during the middle of the day.
Occasional other duties may be available dependent upon candidates skills and experience (grounds, bar, reception, kitchen) but the successful candidates must be comfortable with a level of repetition in their duties. A ‘Second Chef’ role is also currently being advertised at Arthur’s Pass.
As a small, tight-knit team we work hard to ensure a fun and positive working environment. These roles would best suit a couple or two persons willing to share a room due to limited staff accommodation on site.
Roles commence early/mid October and continue through until late March or early April.
