A Pizzeria is currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook / Kitchen Hand to join our team. This is a casual position, offering approximately 20 hours per week, with shifts available from Wednesday to Sunday.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a great working environment, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in their work.
Pizza Maker – Key Responsibilities:
Cooking and Baking

Operating ovens (wood-fired, gas, or electric) and monitoring baking times

Rotating pizzas for even cooking and checking for doneness

Ensuring pizzas are cooked to quality standards
4. Food Prep and Station Maintenance

Prepping ingredients (slicing vegetables, meats, grating cheese)

Restocking and organising the prep station throughout the shift

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the food preparation area
6. Cleaning and Safety

Sanitising surfaces, tools, and equipment regularly

Following food safety and hygiene standards

Properly storing ingredients and checking expiration dates
