Key responsibilities:
- Perform regular spot checks and cleaning duties to maintain high standards across all facilities
- Collaborate with the Manager to plan and manage tasks efficiently
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE
- Maintain stock, equipment, and consumables, and request replacements as needed
- Support the team in meeting health and safety requirements and ensure compliance
- Assist with planning for holiday cleaning requirements
- Report faulty equipment and ensure timely resolution
Key requirements:
- Current driver’s licence
- First Aid qualification (level one) is an advantage
- Ability to engage and connect with people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively within a team
- Energetic, professional, and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Availability for a seven-day operation, including weekends
- Knowledge of Tikanga and Te Ao Māori is an advantage
- General fitness level to perform physical tasks
