Cherry Orchard Pruner – Cromwell

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Cherry Orchard Pruner to assist with tree maintenance and pruning. The role involves trimming cherry trees to promote healthy growth, increase fruit yield, and maintain orchard productivity.

Salary 25-27$/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prune cherry trees according to best agricultural practices.
• Identify and remove dead, diseased, or overcrowded branches.
• Use hand pruners, loppers, and saws safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow instructions from the orchard manager or supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and orchard standards.

Requirements:

Experience in pruning fruit trees (preferred but not required).

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Good physical fitness and ability to lift/carry equipment.

Attention to detail and knowledge of proper pruning techniques.
