Chef – Stanley

Seeking experienced chef to work the pass in a busy seafood restaurant in Stanley Tasmania. We have the finest fresh produce sourced from our fleet to serve in our busy 100 seat restaurant. Fresh crayfish (lobster), fish, squid, local oysters and produce in abundance.

The restaurant and kitchen have recently had a make-over and offers excellent cooking facilities as well as a stylish restaurant with stunning water views.

Close to beaches, forests, waterfalls and national parks and backing onto the iconic Stanley Nut. Two hours to Launceston and a short 45 minute drive to Burnie/Wynyard airport. We are able to assist the successful applicant with an introduction to members of a share house a short walk away, which may be suitable for them to rent (single person only), or assist with locating a rental in the area.

Applicant must have experience working restaurant service in a busy environment – if you haven’t cooked a lot of seafood before we can teach you in house! If you’re looking for a sea change this may be for you.

The restaurant is family owned and has been in operation since 1987, complimenting a thriving fishing fleet, wholesale fish processing operation and take-away.
