We are recruiting a casual Cellar door host, this role is critical to the overall wine experience for our local and international visitors.
This is a front of house role requiring a motivated and hands-on individual with an outgoing personality.
You should have a keen interest in wine, but more importantly will need to possess the ability to build instant rapport with a variety of people and make them feel welcome.
This is a hands on role to help manage wine sales through the cellar door, and to promote the cellar door as a venue. You are naturally self-motivated, highly organised and communicate well with people.
The successful applicant must have a high level of professionalism and a dedication to sales and customer service. Training will be provided, but previous sales/retail experience would also be valued.
Our Cellar Door is open 7 days, and this position will be to provide cover when required over the 7 days. A general manager’s certificate is preferable but not essential. Ability to work every second weekend along with the occasional week day.
