Casual Merchandiser– Auckland

Location: Auckland Region
Pay: Competitive hourly rate + travel allowance

Ability to work Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays if required
Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager

About the Role
We’re looking for a casual Merchandiser & Brand Ambassador to work flexible hours to help us bring our wines to life in-store. A key focus of this role will be conducting in-store wine tastings, engaging with shoppers, and educating them on our range.

You’ll also help maintain our retail presence, support promotional execution, and ensure our products are well presented across supermarkets and liquor stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-store wine tastings (sampling) and confidently speak about our wines
• Merchandise and maintain stock levels across key retail stores
• Build strong relationships with both customers and consumers
• Set up promotional displays and ensure brand compliance
• Provide regular store feedback to the Sales & Marketing team
• Always act as a passionate brand advocate
• End-of-month stocktake

What We’re Looking For:

• Friendly, engaging, and confident with the public
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Previous experience in merchandising, promotions, wine, or retail is an advantage
• Must be comfortable leading tastings and talking about wine
• Physically fit – some lifting and travel required
• Must have full NZ driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
• Available to work Thursday–Saturday (including key weekends/events)
